DivorceCare Support Group
DivorceCare is a national support program for survivors of divorce which offers help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. This new program will be offered at Lewisburg United Methodist Church beginning Wednesday, September 10 at 7:00pm. A nursery will be provided for preschool age children. Cost of the class is $12.00 to cover the cost of the DivorceCare workbook. (Scholarships are available.) Participants are encouraged to register in advance by Wednesday, September 3. "Music in the Mountains," a Marching Band Contest
The James Monroe High School Band, who has been invited to perform at half-time at the Orange Bowl this year, is sponsoring "Music in the Mountains," a marching band contest. It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 beginning at 3:00 p.m. on the JMHS football field.

Fall Festival
Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church, located on Hoke’s Mill Road in Organ Cave will be having their annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 13. Dinner starts at 11am- with baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, dessert and a drink on the menu. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. There will also be a country store and bake sale. At 1pm, they will have an auction of new and used items. Everyone is welcome. For more info, call the church office at 647-4504.
